BULLTECN designs, manufactures, supplies and maintains the physical layer of feed automation in cattle feedlots: the on-board computer, the mixer scale, load cells, cabling, RFID tags and the integration with the management system the farm already runs.
In feed automation since 2018
In 2018 we developed our first on-board computer for feed automation. That unit is still in production today — eight years later, in the same feedlot, in the same routine of dust, vibration and sun that takes down a standard computer in a matter of months.
What started as a pilot project became a product line of our own, now installed in feedlots across Brazil and Paraguay.
Where we operate
We operate in Brazil and Paraguay, with a different scope in each country.
In Brazil, the operation is complete: design, manufacturing, supply, installation, calibration and field service. We work with operations such as Frigol, Baumgart Fazendas Reunidas, Berneck, Fazendão Agronegócio, Ramax Group, Agrochapada, Fazenda Campo and Fazenda Cara Preta.
In Paraguay, we currently supply feed automation components. Around 10 feedlots there run equipment supplied by us, among them Seagro S.A. and Ganadera Los Lazos.
In Brazil, we service any feedlot. You do not need to have bought equipment from us to call BULLTECN. We provide calibration and field service regardless of where the equipment was purchased.
Why weight is at the centre of everything
Feed is the largest cost in a feedlot. Feed conversion, cost of gain, projected performance: every indicator in the operation assumes the recorded weight is the real weight.
When the mixer scale drifts, the error does not present as a failure. It presents as a coherent number — calculated on a wrong basis. The formulated ration stops being the ration delivered, and nobody notices until the results do not add up.
That is the problem BULLTECN solves.
