Custom numbering
Some management systems work with their own numbering ranges and will not accept a generic tag. We manufacture the tag with the numbering your system requires.
We design the on-board computer and manufacture the tags and cables that make feed automation work in the field — plus we supply the scales and accessories that complete the system.
The unit that rides on the mixer, takes the weight from the scale and talks to the feedlot management system.
The computer is compatible with the main feedlot management systems used in Brazil. Installing or replacing the equipment does not force the operation to change software.
The hardware adapts to the system, not the other way around.
| IP68 rated | Sealed against water and dust. Handles washdown and the constant dust of the pen. |
|---|---|
| Fanless | Passive cooling. With no forced ventilation there is no path for dust to get in — the main failure point of a standard computer in a feedlot. |
| Aluminum housing | High-density aluminum that dissipates processor heat and stands up to mixer vibration. |
| 10.4" capacitive display | Large enough for the operator to read from the cab, with capacitive touch. |
| Long-range Wi-Fi | 2.4 and 5 GHz with external antenna — built for the distance between the mixer and the farm's network point. |
The durability proof that matters: the 2018 unit is still running.
The computer we designed in 2018 went into service that year and is still in production today — eight years in the same feedlot, the same dust and the same vibration.
This is usually what decides the purchase — and where most integration problems start.
Every management system talks to the scale, the RFID antenna and the LED panel differently. Some do it all over serial cable. Others handle the same communication wirelessly. If the computer does not have the right port, the integration will not close — and the problem only shows up once the equipment is already mounted on the mixer.
That is why the unit ships configured for the operation's system, with ports defined at the project stage:
An operation running the FarmTell platform by dsm-firmenich uses both serial ports: one for cable communication with the scale, the other for the RFID antenna. Other operations handle that same communication wirelessly. Two different hardware builds for the same goal — settling it up front avoids rework later.
Electronic identification made to order, including specific numbering.
Some management systems work with their own numbering ranges and will not accept a generic tag. We manufacture the tag with the numbering your system requires.
They pick up animal identification on the pass and feed individual data into the system — the basis for traceability and per-animal performance tracking.
A broken cable stops the operation. And the wrong cable produces exactly the same symptom as a drifting scale — except no calibration will fix it.
Links the external LED panel to the system so the operator can read the weight from outside the cab during loading.
Connects the reading antenna to the animal identification system.
Specific cable for the Alfa Instrumentos indicators used in feedlots.
Power for the on-board equipment, sized for the vibration and impact of daily mixer use.
We manufacture cables for the equipment we work with. If yours is not on the list, message us on WhatsApp — we will check whether we can cover your case.
We work with every Digi-Star (Digistar) scale model and its accessories. We supply, install, configure and calibrate.
The full indicator line used on TMR mixers and stationary mixers.
Weight readout at a distance, to follow loading from outside the cab.
Load cells, cabling, connectors and the parts that keep weighing reliable.
Equipment ships configured for your mixer, with the initial calibration done.
Need the manual for your equipment? Manuals are free to download, no sign-up required, in the support area.
Our place is the physical layer. It has to work with the mixer you have and the software you already run.
The feedlot does not have to change software to use our equipment.
We work with the equipment regardless of the manufacturer — towed mixer or fixed mixer at the feed mill.
On-board computer of our own design, custom-numbered tags and cables manufactured by us.
Industrial protection against water and dust, with an aluminum finish — built for feedlot routine.
Tell us your mixer model, which management software the operation runs and what is already installed. We will come back with a proposal.
